Parent questions, answered

Do children need an adult in the room?

Yes. Children aged 11 and under require an adult supervisor inside the room.

Does the supervising adult need to pay?

One supervising adult may enter free of charge and help when needed. This does not cover ordinary adult participation. Every room still needs two paid players. Contact us to arrange the correct booking setup, as the online system may not include space for a free supervisor.

What age are escape rooms suitable for?

There is no single best starting age: confidence, attention and comfort with the theme matter. Check each room’s atmosphere and sensory guidance, and plan for adults to help younger players connect clues.

What if the room is too difficult for us?

Your Game Master can provide hints and support. Ask for help when you need it; you can enjoy solving the room together without working everything out alone.

Which room should we choose with children?

Choose for the whole family’s interests and confidence. Under the Big Top offers hands-on play; Lost Without Hue rewards observation; confident puzzle-solving families may enjoy Memories of Nikola. Read the room’s theme and sensory guidance before booking.

How many people can play?

The standard team size is two to six people per room, with a minimum of two paid players. Contact us if you are unsure how to include a free supervising adult in your booking.

How long should we allow?

Allow around 75 minutes in total, including the 60-minute game. Arrive 10 minutes before your booked time for the briefing.

Do we need to book ahead during the school holidays?

Booking ahead is recommended so you can get the room and time you want.
