Standard rooms
Current room prices
Christchurch room prices are charged per person by group size. The same prices apply to every room, every day and every session, and include GST.

Children and supervision
Children and supervising adults
- Children aged 11 and under
- Children aged 11 and under pay $29 per person and require an adult supervisor inside the room.

- Children aged six and under play free.
- Supervising adults
- One or two adults who are genuinely supervising the group may enter without charge. Because the online booking system may not include space for the supervising adult, please contact us and we can arrange the booking for you.
Payment
How and when payment happens
Online payment is optional. You can pay when booking or when you arrive. Businesses, schools, charities and other organisations may also arrange invoicing with us in advance.

- Available for groups of any size.
- Online payment
- You can pay online when you book, but you don’t have to — you’re welcome to pay when you arrive.
- Payment methods
- Pay by EFTPOS, credit or debit card, cash, online when booking, or by an invoice arranged with us in advance.
- One organiser or split payments
- One organiser may pay for the group. Split payments are available in store, but are not offered through the online booking flow.
Gift vouchers
Using gift vouchers toward a booking
Gift vouchers are redeemed in store. When booking, choose ‘pay on arrival’ and bring the voucher with you.
Gift voucher guidance- Unused value remains on the voucher until it is used or the voucher expires.
- The same voucher may be used across multiple bookings while value remains; multiple vouchers cannot currently be combined.
Coordinated payment
Large groups, invoices and coordinated payment
Invoicing may be available for businesses, schools, charities and organisations when arranged and approved in advance. Approved invoices are due within seven days after the booking.
- Pay on arrival remains available for larger groups.
- Invoicing is not available automatically and must be approved in advance.
- Split payments between multiple people are available in store.
Changing numbers
If participant numbers change
If your numbers change, let us know as soon as possible. Additional players can usually be added within the room’s capacity. If fewer people attend, the price is recalculated and any overpayment is refunded, while the two-player minimum still applies.
- More people joining
- If additional players are joining, the organiser can pay the difference. Room capacity still applies, so contact Escape Artists Christchurch if the change could affect your room or team arrangements.
- Fewer people attending
- The price is recalculated and any overpayment is refunded. The original participant number is not automatically charged, but the two-paid-player minimum still applies.
