Birthdays, families and social groups

Whether it’s a birthday, family day out or just an excuse to get everyone together, we’ll help make planning your group easy.

Group setup

More people does not have to mean one crowded room.

Escape rooms generally work best in smaller teams. Six is the recommended maximum per room, while seven may be possible in some circumstances after discussing the trade-offs. If your group has more than six people, contact us so we can coordinate several rooms around availability, ages, suitability and shared goals.

Several rooms may start together or be staggered depending on availability and operational needs; simultaneous starts are not guaranteed. Plans do not assume the entire group can gather in one shared space before or after play.

Practical guidance

What organisers usually need to know.

Payment and invoicing
The approved general payment rules apply. Payment on arrival and advance-approved invoicing are available where appropriate, with no additional large-group deposit rule.
Capacity and confirmation
With seven rooms, we can comfortably host groups of 40+ people in a session. The exact setup depends on room availability, group makeup and timing, so send us your approximate numbers and we’ll recommend the best combination. Enquire early; there is no fixed minimum lead time.
Accessibility and participation
Accessibility differs between rooms. Tell us what your group needs and we’ll help identify a suitable setup for the group.
Ages and supervision
Children aged 11 and under require a supervising adult inside the room. Schools and organisations should include ages and supervision needs in their enquiry.

Choosing rooms

Choose for the people coming, not only the difficulty label.

Different rooms suit different groups. These are a couple of good starting points, and we can recommend other combinations based on your numbers and preferences.
