Nestled inside the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, this playground is a city-centre favourite that blends nature, adventure, and thoughtful design. With play areas for toddlers and older children, a fenced paddling pool in summer, and plenty of natural features to explore, it’s a peaceful yet playful space where families can relax, connect, and enjoy a day outdoors. The Avon River runs alongside the gardens, adding to the tranquil, natural setting and offering a chance to spot ducks on the water.
