Choose your route
The flat, well-maintained tracks offer three useful options. Rest stops are spaced regularly and the paths are suitable for prams; bikes are not permitted.
Contemplation Point · 20 minutes return
Follow the main pond-side track to the signpost, then turn right. Contemplation Point is about one minute off the main path, with a bench and views over the water.
Panako Walkway loop · about 40 minutes
At the signpost continue left along Panako Walkway to Hussey Walkway. Two short branches reconnect a few minutes later. Take the right-hand path toward Hussey Road for the dog park, or stay on the loop back to the car park.
Hussey View Walkway · about 1 hour
Continue left along Hussey View Walkway around the dog park to the open picnic area, toilets and drinking fountain about 30 minutes in. Follow the driveway past the dog park beside the fenced reserve, then use the gate on the left to rejoin Panako Walkway and return to the start.
Along the way
Picnic tables sit beside the pond and near the dog park. Parts of the route are shaded and others exposed. Signposts are provided, but note the key intersections because the network has several branches.
