Frequently Asked Questions
Am I actually locked/trapped in the room?
No, this just adds to the story line. There is always an emergency exit and ‘quick exit’ button located at each of the doors. But sometimes the door is locked behind you until you want out.
Are the Escape Rooms scary?
The themes are generally not scary and no one will jump out at you, Depending on the room there might be a couple of surprises which are designed to add to the excitement and experience. We are always happy to disclose these to you and you can decide if you don’t want those aspects for your team.
Can we book on the day?
If there’s space, absolutely! We recommend booking online or calling ahead to make sure your preferred time is available—especially on weekends or public holidays.
Can we play in teams and compete?
Definitely! If you have a larger group, we can split you into teams and run rooms simultaneously so you can race to escape. Great for birthdays, team-building events, or just bragging rights!
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Just your brain and your team! Everything you need to play will be provided. Comfortable clothing and shoes are a good idea too.
Do you do corporate or team-building bookings?
Yes! We regularly host corporate groups and workplace teams. Escape rooms are a great way to build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. We can tailor the experience to suit your group—for more information check out our Workplace Escapes.
Do you have age restrictions?
We don’t have age restrictions for children wanting to play, however, we find that children under 12 will most probably need an adult in the room with them to assist. With children 12-14 we recommend having an adult in the room. If you have more questions regarding this or would like to see if your plan will work, you are more than welcome to give us a call and we can run through some options with you.
Do you have EFTPOS available?
Yes, we accept Cash/EFTPOS/Visa/Mastercard instore, online bookings can also be paid with Debit Card/Visa or Mastercard
Do you take walk-ins?
We do, but only if we’re not already booked up. To avoid disappointment, especially during weekends or school holidays, it’s best to book ahead.
How early should we arrive?
It’s best to turn up about 15 minutes before you booking time to allow for briefing and to get your team prepared!
